Youth Program, ages 8–10
Our youngest campers start out in 8-foot Optimist Prams to introduce capturing the wind to power boats.
Juniors Program, ages 10–18
This entry-level sailing class gives campers a chance to gain their “sea legs.”
Campers start by learning the parts of the sailboat, and by week’s end, they’ll understand wind direction and more importantly, controlling their sailboat.
Games and drills on and off the water help teach basic sailing skills.
Swim Evaluation
For safety reasons, all campers must be able to swim. While learning to sail, it is not unusual for campers’ boats to capsize, which results in a sudden and unexpected immersion in the water
The swim evaluation is not a test for campers to pass or fail. The evaluation is a tool to evaluate their comfort in the water.
The swim evaluation consists of campers swimming 50 feet with their life jackets on and then treading water for one minute.
Camp Rules
We pride ourselves on providing a clean, safe environment

Please respect the environment and equipment and throw away all trash.
Foul language and disruptive behavior are not tolerated.
No food in boats.
